The Chicago Transit Authority had many of the same issues with it's bus stop signage program that New York City had.  Again, the requirement was a bus stop system that would have a unique shape, would be devoid of scrap value, utilize vandal resistant hardware, and be mounted on a flexible sign pole.  The result was a modified design of our New York City Bus Stop system, utilizing thermoformed ABS plastic.
